AD Replication Is Failing and repadmin Won't Say Anything Useful

The error: Domain controllers stop syncing changes with each other. Symptoms are indirect — group membership changes don't show up on some DCs, password changes work at one site but not another. repadmin /showrepl often just shows a stale last-success timestamp with no clear error.

Environment: Any multi-DC Active Directory environment, Windows Server 2016 and later.

RDP: "No Remote Desktop License Servers Available"

The error: Users can't connect via RDP. The exact message is usually "The remote session was disconnected because there are no Remote Desktop License Servers available to provide a license." It often appears suddenly, on a server that's been accepting RDP connections fine for months.

Environment: Windows Server 2016 through 2025, any edition running the Remote Desktop Session Host role.
